This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is meant to help you understand what information the BCD Technology ("BCD") Olympus Platform ("Olympus") collects, why we collect it and how you can manage it.
Olympus incorporates a range of services and utilities that enable our consumers ("Clients") and their customers. All Consumer information is stored within Olympus, but information for all Consumer customers is stored within the Consumer's own systems, networks and services.
Information about how Olympus components and services (collectively "Services") is utilized to understand functionality. Consumer identity is tracked to ensure auditablity in case of any issue. When signing up for a Consumer account, you will be required to provide an email address and individual and/or company information. All infomration is hidden behind globally unique identifiers to help prevent misuse. All of this information will be communicated using TLS encrypted communication.
Your information will not be shared with companies, organizations or idividuals outside of BCD except in the following cases:
If BCD is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we’ll continue to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Your information will always be encrypted during transit and securely stored and managed.
We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access to our systems
We restrict access to personal information to BCD employees, contractors, and agents who need that information in order to process it. Anyone with this access is subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
We regularly review this Privacy Policy and make sure that we process your information in ways that comply with it.
When we receive formal written complaints, we respond by contacting the person who made the complaint. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of your data that we cannot resolve with you directly.
This Policy applies to all of the services offered by Olympus and its affiliates. This Policy doesn’t apply to services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Policy.
This Policy does not apply to services or products offered by Clients.
We change this Policy from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent. We always indicate the date the last changes were published and we offer access to archived versions for your review. If changes are significant, we’ll provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Policy changes).
